Margarita and Ludwig Eschbach from
Basel in Switzerland, came to the island
of eternal spring in
1991. There they bought Finca Verde,
a small farm with fruit trees in the
north of Tenerife,
and made it their
home.
For several years they converted this picturesque
place into a unique
holiday resort. They took great
care to maintain the original, partly typical Canary structure
of the buildings,
and to use only environmentally friendly material.
Since then, many guests have come to know Finca
Verde
as
a perfect place to spend their holidays. More and more
of them come here on a regular basis to relax and take
a
break from their stressful lives.
Finca Verde is also a venue for groups who come to organise
a special course: Taiji, Yoga, fasting and hiking, alimentation
and diet, Feldenkrais, etc.
Margarita Eschbach has
attended several courses to build up her capacity for energy
healing,
in order to support
healing processes on a physical and mental level. Many
guest have already benefited from her abilities. (See:
Our Services)
In 1998 the elder son Markus Eschbach came
to Finca Verde. In order to
make his dream come true, which was
and is
being a teacher for Indian
Riding,
the infrastructure of Finca Verde was adapted to meet the
requirements of horses
and riders. Markus developed Indian
Riding further
and soon the first guests were able to learn this unique
horse-friendly style of riding.
One day one of his students was not only attracted by his
riding style, but also by himself. As sympathy was mutual
and Markus and Andrea fell
in love, they soon got married.
Since 2000, Markus and Andrea are managing the riding centre
together.
